Beginnings

Welcome friends! I have started this entry in the global technosphere because I have been in love with books since the age of 2. Among the busy business of being a new teacher, this is my outlet for sharing thoughts on a love of reading a wide variety of books. My inspiration can be summed up with a yearbook quote from a teacher written when I was 8: "To the only girl at recess I see reading a book. Good for you!"
My blog title is quoted from a classmate who asked me this once. Believe it or not, I've also heard it as a teacher :D

I Write Like...

Came across this fascinating site that analyzes your writing and compares it to the style of a famous writer.  I have no idea how they do this or what criteria is used, but I tried it & came up with the following:

I Write Like by Mémoires, Mac journal software. Analyze your writing!

I'm honoured, albeit skeptical :o)  I just hope it's only Wallace's writing that is similar to mine...he was a rather depressed person.  I also tried a snippet of a story I've been writing on & off for a couple of years & supposedly it's like James Joyce.  Don't quite understand that one...even I don't get much of Joyce!
